Workplace Support

Research supports the value and efficacy of professional psychological input in workplace environments. Sunica and Rachel welcome enquiries from businesses for a confidential discussion.

Members of our team can assist businesses or their employees by providing psychological assessments, treatment and interventions to support them with a variety of difficulties. Following a comprehensive assessment, we can clarify the psychological factors that are impacting upon employee or managerial wellbeing or performance, and design interventions and therapy that will improve psychological health, interpersonal communication and satisfaction in the workplace. We can also provide comprehensive and psychologically insightful reports that include helpful recommendations for reducing stress and enhancing wellbeing and performance. Confidential consultations with management or Human Resources can be held either in person or via the phone or email, or we can assist employees directly.

Our team has experience in delivering psychological interventions following a crisis. Such situations require highly specialised assessment and treatment approaches. Some of our team members provided ‘psychological first aid’ and mental health support to Countdown employees impacted by the terrorist attack which occurred in our local community. We are also highly skilled in assessing and treating the effects of exposure to traumatic or difficult life events that can occur in the personal lives of employees and which impact on wellbeing and performance.

Workplace support services we provide include:

  • Fitness for Work assessments and reports
  • Working Safely assessments and reports
  • Psychological assistance for personal difficulties impacting upon wellbeing or workplace performance
  • Psychological injury in the workplace: assessments and treatment
  • Investigation of harassment (including sexual), bullying, and other grievances or disputes
